The publications are marketed to the national and international community through the National Bibliography of Uganda. This boosts the publishing industry in Uganda.
By law, the National Library of Uganda is mandated to issue International Standard Book Numbers (ISBNs) and International Standard Serials Numbers (ISSNs), and also do Cataloguing-In-Publication.
